Ultimus is a Web-based Client/Server application which
lets users easily design, simulate, implement, monitor
and measure workflow for many different administrative
business processes such as Purchase Orders, Expense
Reports, Time Cards, Change Orders and many more. Ultimus
is easy to set up -- it does not require any programming,
scripting, or macros. Ultimus is easy to integrate with
existing applications using its workflow robots and
ODBC database connectivity. Ultimus is easy to use --
anyone with Web access and a Web browser can participate
in workflow.
The new Version 4 is based on the Microsoft Transaction
Server, Java, and Dynamic HTML. It offers more than
150 essential out-of the-box features of workflow automation,
making it the easiest way to deploy scalable workflow
applications without programming. Some of the unique
new features include the following: collaborative workflow
design, automatic workflow documentation, cross-platform
support, powerful server-side DLLs for workflow extensions,
open form interfaces, and the ability to create custom
clients using COM/DCOM.
